Captivate 8 - text captions appear according to timeline "when I play timeline," but only the FIRST text caption appears in any "preview" mode

Hi all-

I've just gotten Captivate 8!

In my first project, I've created a new slide, and have added about 40 seconds of audio narration to the slide.

I've added several text captions to the slide, and then used the timeline so that each bullet appears at the proper point in the audio.

When I "play" the timeline by pressing the play icon IN the timeline, the narration and captions are synced perfectly.

However, when I choose any of the "PREVIEW" options, while the narration plays perfectly, no captions (other than the first one) ever appear.

What am I doing wrong?
