Glad you're back. I'm still waiting for a call from Adobe to go over what they think might fix things. They have indicated that I should uninstall and then reinstall Photoshop. I would rather not do that as I'll have to reinstall all my plugins as well, like Nik and OneOne stuff. With all the people here having the same problem on Windows and Mac I really can't see how a reinstall will fix anything.
You say that you have a new desktop and are starting to use it for Photoshop. Did you just do a fresh install of CS5 on it? And do you have the same problem with the fresh install? This info might be interesting to point out to them when they finally call me.
