I have spent 7 hours today with Adobe support attempting to activate a Captivate 8 subscription on my windows 7 laptop. When installed Captivate asks me to sign in with an Adobe ID which I do. Then it asks to accept T&C's which I do, then it asks for a serial code - which I don't have.
Support says there isn't one or Captivate 8 subscriptions. despite this the FAQ for subscriptions indicates one is required.
What a THOROUGHLY DISGUSTING WASTE OF MY DAY !!!!
Adobe needs to get it's act together and stop acting like a start up company. The website is apalling, non-intuitive and the software rarely runs without a glitch.
I have had 3 support people logged in to my computer for over 7 hours and, despite explaining that I am at home working on my wife's laptop - she is a sole trader, have been told to get the IT department to look into it.
A thoroughly annoyed subscriber.
