Does it work if you log onto the Mac using a different user account? If it does, that means the problem is in the original user's library files, not the application, and deleting the two Adobe folders in the user library and replacing them with the two from the working user might work.
If it doesn't work in a different user, then it's at the application level and I would suggest running the cleaner tool (CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3 ) and reinstalling one more time.
