OK FOLKS: the truth is elements 12 WILL NOT WORK with Yosemite!! Read the post below and the answer from Arnaud (an adobe person). It is obvious from this answer that adobe has no intention of talking to us or fixing the problem. From what I have been told, this Forum is users helping users - are any of you part of the development team or programmer of elements 12?? I didn't think so. Good luck in your search for a solution. If you find a solution, shout it from the rood top!

Dear Customer,

We have developed an online support structure to provide you with self-help content and a network of online support, including chat and forums.
Online support will provide you with quick and timely responses by knowledgeable experts both from within Adobe and from the larger community of experienced users.

The first step for contacting us will be to start online at www.adobe.com/getsupport.
From there, you can tell us what you need help with, sign in with your Adobe ID, and then see your best options for support—most of these will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These changes will also make it easier for you to get to the right staff member to answer your questions.

If you encounter any issues while accessing online support, please try with a different browser such a Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Kind regards,

Arnaud Mélon

ARNAUD: OK, I have tried signing in, selecting troubleshooting from the menu and when none of the options are the problem, I go to the bottom of the menu to the "contact us"  AND THAT TAKES ME BACK TO THE GENERAL HELP MENU! Don't you have some real people that can talk to us and solve the problem! This is about as stupid a customer service application as I have seen and I spent a lot of time in customer service positions. Adobe's refusal to provide a contact point for actual help is beyond belief!
